University Place is one of the best-kept mid-century cities in Pierce County, and its plumbing reflects it: well-maintained 1950s–'70s ramblers and split-levels on quiet streets off Bridgeport Way, Grandview Drive, and 67th Avenue that are now, one by one, reaching the age where original galvanized supply lines, cast-iron drains, and first-generation copper need replacing.
